Nathan M. Lombardo, P.E.

Mechanical Engineer

Nathan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010.

During college, Nathan was employed in the construction of commercial and industrial buildings, including office layout and design with CAD software, heavy equipment operation, installation of fire suppression systems, and electrical wiring. After graduation, Nathan began his professional career in research and development. He was responsible for the design, 3-D modeling, prototype construction, lab testing, regulatory compliance, and production implementation of commercial and residential refrigeration systems. In addition, Nathan was the project leader on the design, layout, and hands-on construction of a research and development prototype facility that increased efficiency and ensured the manufacturability of final designs in full-scale production. He has consulted with customers to outline specifications for new product development, coordinated multiple contractors in the completion of testing laboratories and environmentally controlled rooms for rapid prototyping machinery, trained technicians, and built prototype units and models for laboratory testing and regulatory adherence.

Nathan possesses over fifteen years of hands-on experience with machinery and building. He also has multiple certifications in 3-D modeling software. At Semke Forensic, Nathan provides engineering services in the areas of accident reconstruction, refrigeration system analysis, failure analysis, and mechanical design analysis.
