Jeff W. Polster, P.E.
Senior Mechanical Engineer
Jeff received a Bachelor of Science degree – Magna Cum Laude in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri – St. Louis/Washington University Engineering Program. He was on the Dean’s List and acquired his degree by attending classes at night while working as a mechanical designer for a manufacturing company. His education also includes a Certificate of Specialization in Computer-Aided Design and Drafting.
Prior to receiving his degree, Jeff worked for over twenty years in various manufacturing roles acquiring knowledge and hands-on experience in machining, welding, machine and plant maintenance, tool and die design, machine design, material properties, product inspection and plant safety. He also has experience in vehicle troubleshooting and repair, HVAC design and building code compliance.
In September 2006, Jeff joined Semke Forensic as a mechanical forensic engineer. He provides engineering services in the areas of vehicle accident reconstruction, manufacturing and construction equipment evaluations, and mechanical failure analysis where he draws upon his education and extensive mechanical background. Jeff also provides assistance with fuel-fired appliances and fire suppression systems.
